The second-seeded San Jose Sharks will host Game 1 of the
Western Conference quarterfinals this evening, when they welcome the Pacific
Division rival Los Angeles Kings to HP Pavilion.

It has been over five years since the Flames last won six straight games. It's been nearly as long since the Los Angeles Kings have won in Calgary.

Kings defenseman Matt Greene said it has been four years
since the club could rely on taking positives out of its losses.
