Meadows of Dan Elementary School was destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.

The Patrick County sheriff said it appears that school staff could not have done anything differently to prevent the fire.

No word yet on what caused the fire.

According to investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board, the plane showed no mechanical problems before it crashed into a neighborhood killing all six on board.
