The High Point Men's Basketball team lost their road game to Liberty 65-54

The High Point University men's basketball team opened Big South play with a heartpounding 66-64 win over Gardner-Webb on Thursday night in the Millis Center.

The High Point University men's basketball team kicks off its 2011-12 season with a home game against Bridgewater College on Nov. 12, the first of 15 home games for the Panthers this season. High Point hosts Wake Forest on Dec. 7 at the Millis Center.

The High Point University men's basketball team led almost the entire game and held off a surging Radford Highlander squad, 72-70, before a crowd of 1,543 on Saturday night at the Millis Center.

Junior guard Nick Barbour scored 32 points but was the only Panther in double figures as the High Point University men's basketball team took a 76-62 loss to UNC Asheville.

Andre Williamson hit a free throw with 5 seconds left to give Appalachian State an 82-81 victory over High Point on Saturday night.
