A battle of ranked foes kicks off Big East

undefeated and fourth-ranked Louisville.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist posted career highs of
24 points and 19 rebounds, leading third-ranked Kentucky to a 69-62 victory
over No. 4 Louisville at Rupp Arena.

Coming off yet another lopsided victory,
the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide return home to play host to the Arkansas
Razorbacks in SEC West action at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
