A Greensboro church gave away 40,000 pounds of sweet potatoes.


Genesis Baptist Church, at 2812 E. Bessemer Ave., gave away all the potatoes in about 4 1/2 to 5 hours, according to Pastor Calvin O. Foster, Jr.
